John 14 verse 1-3 (KJV):
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me
The scriptures above shows the possibility of your heart being troubled. In a world where you see people around you getting the goodies of life and you seem left out; those who are not as brainy, not as spiritual, not as endowed, and not as talented as you do seem to be ahead of you. The antidote as prescribed by Jesus is simple, “you believe in God, believe also in me“. You are to believe in Him as your Saviour, Supplier, Sufficiency and All-in-all. Believe in Him as your Father, Fighter, Favour and Future.
In my Father’s house are many mansions
He has all the resources, gifts, talents, grace, mansions, and so many good things that you cannot exhaust. A song writer wrote “All that I want is in Jesus, He satisfies, joy he supplies, life will be worthless without Him, all things in Jesus I find”.
If it were not so, I would have told you
God can never say what is untrue because He cannot lie. Whatsoever He has told you will surely come to pass as He is not a man that He should lie. He doesn’t fool people around. What he has said concerning you is correct; His promises are Yes and Amen.
I go to prepare a place for you
Are you feeling neglected as though God has gone away from you? Probably you are discouraged because of your circumstances and feel as though you have been abandoned. Know that He is preparing a place for you. He is preparing a career place, a marital place, a ministerial place , a prosperous place, a healthy place, a glorious mansion just for you. As diverse and scattered as the universe is, with over 7 billion people; God still cares about you. You matter to Him and you are important to Him. Be at rest, be at peace for He is preparing a place for you.
I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also
He is coming again not only at the rapture but He is coming again to place you in that glory He has prepared for you. He wants to receive you unto Himself so that you came be in the same place where He is.
Whatever blessing God gives you, it is to the intent that you get closer to Him. His blessings are to equip us for better service and better reverence in order to fulfil His Purpose for our lives. He wants to be the epicentre of our lives, He wants to make our hearts His home and make us carriers of His presence everywhere we go.
May the LORD give us peace, patience and understanding to wait for His preparations in JESUS name. Amen
